The last days of training before going on my own!

What a skill to be able to do repertorized while taking the case and on the spot prescribe a remedy! (My fellows’ classmates probably see what I mean)… I am so not use to that kind of prescribing… Getting the sensation here is almost impossible! Or should I say it is a different way to get to the remedy; the essential and what needs to be cure is mostly physical, not too much stories or mind symptoms. The only mind question I can venture is what you like to do??? And even that people here are so not use to answer those type of questions… it’s mostly because after making sure that everyone has food and shelter, which could much occupied some one’s mind around here, they don’t have much time left for pleasures or hobbies.

They also find strange talking about their dreams but after insisting they are quite open to it! Some of them are quite clairvoyant…

So forget about questions like what’s your experience like or how is that make you feel like or even a more difficult one is: how is that like for you? What is that make you think of? All that in our culture is fine but here, it’s like talking to a wall that stare back at you with that look that makes you feel quite off! So we go very basic, physical and modalities.

Getting back at the repertory also teach me a lot at the moment about the Materia Medica (remedies). This is a sharp learning curve for me at the moment… it’s all ok, I do my best always and do it at the level that I am at! I have to say that this a pleasure to re-work with the repertory and to find rubrics, slow but good sometimes and at other time, I feel lost again !!!

I see so many skin pathology and other Aids related symptoms in one day; I am learning so much!

Another thing I have to say is that all the follow up of patients that I seen since my last post (about 30 of them) are for most of them, doing great and they feel better physically and mentally! It is so amazing to watch! I can’t wait to start my own cases next week (Jan. 26th.) and to see the follow up 2 to 3 weeks after… (No pressure really! Just a good intention)….

It’s very exciting to see that homeopathy helps to recover from the disease symptoms or side effect of ARV’s…. Homeopathy is a very good complementary choice of action in term of increasing life quality of the patients. I feel bless to be able to witness that and of course, to help!

THIS is the way to really learn the materia medica in action. Seems very grounding after full immersion in the sensation method (with all due respect to it and how much it can deepen/broaden our understanding of patients and remedies), that the what- where -when - how approach can bring you to a truly helpful remedy to alleviate suffering.
I am so glad for you that you have this opportunity to learn by helping so many people, to whatever degree you can help. And lucky them to have such a caring and compassionate healer in their midst!
To your good health!
